Namibia offers a spectacular variety of wildlife to those willing to explore its lands. As the only country in Africa that has nature conservation ingrained in its constitution, a system has been established, where a part of the profits made by a conservancy, flow directly back into its community. This encourages the people, living in the habitats of rhinos, lions and elephants, to look after, rather than fighting, or even killing them. We are proud to be able to show our guests not only antelopes like the Oryx (also to be found on Namibia's coat of arms) , but also rare animals like the black rhino, the desert elephant, lions and cheetahs, as they are witnesses of Namibia's success in nature conservation. With over 100 mammal species, some 700 different birds and a lot of reptiles, there is plenty to see when visiting this magnificent country. Who knows... maybe if you are really fortunate you may even see a pangolin?
